About Kimerly Polak Guerrero

Kimerly Polak Guerrero, the Executive Director of Polero ICE Advisers, has 30 years of experience as an investment executive and a financial adviser. She is a Registered Investment Adviser and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant, as well as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®. At the beginning of 2008, she started Polero ICE Advisers to serve a limited number of women and retired clients, assisting them with their financial challenges and the organization of their financial lives.

Prior to her current role, she was a Senior Vice President at Travelers/Citigroup and a Managing Director at Depfa Bank, where she invested over $7 billion in the international and domestic market. Prior to holding these positions, Kim was a foreign exchange options trader at Chemical Bank and a consultant to the World Bank.

Kimerly has a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Insurance from the University of Rhode Island, where she graduated summa cum laude.

Kim has earned the Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) designation, and has completed all of the educational requirements for the designation of Accredited Estate Planner.   She is a NAPFA Registered Financial Adviser, and served as the leader of NAPFA's New York Study Group for 4 years.

Kim is dedicated to providing pro-bono services to those in need of credit counseling and other financial advice. She has worked with the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Program, which helps elderly and low-income individuals prepare their taxes, and has provided Financial Backpack classes to many groups of high-school seniors.  She has also served as the Coordinator for a financial-education Program for battered and trafficked women in New York City.

Kim lives in New York City with her husband. They have 2 sons and a daughter.
